I am no longer using Jamit so cannot test this for you. Not sure how many others still are Jamit software either.

The problem seems to be with your plugins. Try disabling the Indeed and the SecurityTools plugins and see if this remedies your problem.

Cheers,
Dave

Hello all - I haven't made any changes to to my website in over a year but suddenly it is showing error messages on the website.  I've been doing some research but can't seem to find a fix that works.  I noticed when searching that there are other Jamit job boards out there with the same errors.  Anyone know how to fix this issue?  A better question - is anyone still out there??   Roll Eyes

Examples of error from main page:

Hello Guys,

It's been long since this thread was active and I just wanted to catch up with you on the Jamit story. I have recently migrated my good old Jamit site to a new server, still running with jobg8 and producing a small amount every month but now I want to move on and develop a bit. I think Jamit is a good base and it would be great to get a new job board. Is there anyone who is interested?

Permissions are as per documentation

666 for config.php, rss.xml & /lang/english.php

777 for cache, upload_files/docs/ (and all sub folders), upload_files/images/ (and all sub folders)

Pulling hair out at this point - and this forum feels deserted these days.

Am I the only one left using Jamit?

I feel ready to bin it, and look for something else .........

Hi  SecureAspects,

I've taken a look at your jobs page, and it looks great.

I've pretty much had it with Jamit at this point, it's giving me nothing but issues at the moment, particularly since I switched to a new server.

Now that yours has been running for a few months, how are you finding it on the admin end?
Does it need much upkeep?

Would it be possible to post a quick review of your experience of SJB, from installation -> migration -> current use.
Their site looks good, but I'd like to hear from someone who's gone through the migration aspect of things.

Thanks,

Anton

Hi all.

Has anyone managed (or even tried) to sync / integrate the Jamit login with Joomla (3.2)?

I'm currently working on changing over my site to joomla ... I've got a bridge to handle the phpBB forum login, but the Jamit one eludes me.  Huh

Any ideas out there?

Anton

Jamit 3.6.12 is stable but I would seriously consider moving to newer software as Jamit will be dying very soon. SmartJobBoard is very good.
