Text message alert service?

I believe there is a market in my area for job seekers wanting to be informed of new filtered job ads by text message on their mobile phones.
Same as the email alert, but via text message. The job board owners can set a standard charge per text message for persons opting in for this service.
This type of service will be useful in developing countries where job seekers have mobile phones but not pc's.
If anyone else supports this idea let it be known so that one of these clever developers can create a plugin we can purchase.
