Hi All,

The search feature on Jamit is pretty decent. But we have been seeing a lot of sites implement lucene with solr (both are free and open source) with a great success.

My humble request is that our future version of Jamit has lucene/solr integrated with it.

If anyone has already implemented lucene with Jamit, please do share your thoughts.

Thanks.

I've implemented MySQL fulltext (hybrid) search and Sphinx search functionalities on my site and it works like a charm. I worked on another project with Solr and love Solr.

Adam confirmed that 3.7 will include search server functionality but I do not see it on his updates list posted on the Announcements forum.

Would you like to share with us your implementation?

@screenmates - yes, I would like to make the search more API friendly and also include a simple framework. Would you be available to give me some feedback on my work in progress framework? Please PM me.
