You would need to check the legality of doing this. Candidate info in confidential.

You would probably need to request permission from your jobseekers to display their information publicly. Or at least let them choose whether they want their info made public or not.

Not sure what country you are in, but you should check what the laws have to say about this or you could end up a load of sh1t.

I definitely would not suggest doing this at all.

well we will make clear the cv's are there to be shown. privacy shouldn't be a problem.
this is a site for architects and they would be quite happy to have their resumes listed on some proper targeted job website.

besides, just filling in a username and password would allow acces and unveil all information anyway..

The difference with logging in is that the info is protected. You control who has access to your system and the info stored on it.

Personal and contact info displayed publicly will be collected by spiders crawling your site. You would need to be very careful what info is made public.

hi,

i realize that. but at least a list with headers would be a good idea i think. maybe with a required login after clicking the heading.
as a visitor there is no way of knowing how many (and what kind of) resumes are posted. it would be good to be able to show that.

I am not trying to dissuade you from doing as you please with your job board. I am merely pointing out that their could be legal issues.

Do you offer a free service (job posting and resume viewing) to employers or do they need to register and pay for these services?

Have you seen the Head Shots plugin? It is listed in the Jamit market. This will display candidates image in thumbnail view.

You can see it here - http://market.jamit.com/item/head-shots/2010-10-19/8

Perhaps this could be used or even changed to suit your needs.

yes i had seen that. but there is no example of it.
showing just the heads (it looks like that is what the script does?) is not what i want.. maybe i can take out the image thumbnail code, would there be a 'header' of some kind left? and is that accessible without logging in?
