Author Topic: Set to "Anonymous" by default  (Read 2262 times)

I have made a thorough search of the forums and documentation, but I could not find any details about this.

I am trying to change the default settings so that all newly created Job Seeker profiles will be set to "Anonymous." Could someone please tell me which line of code to edit?

I think it might be in myjobs/edit.php but I am not sure. Thank you very much in advance!

Just in case anyone was wondering, I found out how to set all profiles to anonymous by default. Sure enough, it was carefully documented in the appropriate source files (check /include/theme/default/resume-form.php).

The instructions indicate:

How to make all resumes anonymous

Replace this checkbox

<input type="checkbox" value="Y" name="anon" ?php if($prams['anon']=='Y') {

echo ' checked ';} ? >

<input type="hidden" value="Y" name="anon"  >

For my site, there was one additional step, since I already had some non-anonymous candidates registered. In order to set these candidates to anonymous, go into mySQL and access the "resumes_table" and set the anon value to Y. That should take care of it!

Good luck everyone!
