Thanks for suggesting!  Smiley

Since there is a RedirectToEditResume plugin, to develop a RedirectToEditProfile would be easy.

Since this is a developer's board, I assume that guys here know some PHP - and the instructions below are not exact, just hints!

It is also a good way to get started with plugin development in general...

First, copy RedirectToEditResume to a new directory, say RedirectToEditProfile

Go inside that directory, rename the RedirectToEditResume.php to RedirectToEditProfile.php

Then open the RedirectToEditProfile.php file in your fav PHP editor, and find and replace all occurances of 'RedirectToEditResume' with 'RedirectToEditProfile'

Then customize the rest of the code. Change the 'candidates_header_head' hook to be 'candidates_header_head' and for the redirect_head() function, change the sql to something like this

Code:
$sql = "SELECT `profile_id` FROM `profiles_table` WHERE `user_id`='".jb_escape_sql($_SESSION['JB_ID'])."'";

Then customize the rest of the plugin source, eg. change the plugin name and description, etc.

Hi Adam,
good to know how a plugin can be build. Is there anyone who can do and test it? I'm not sure if I would do it right. I'm not happy to make a plugin public that does not work fine.

Hi, I have made this into a plugin, you may wish to download this from market.jamit.com once Adam accepts this and posts in the Jamit market.
