The Security Tools plugin is up to version 2.1

The plugin does a thorough scan through the php source files and will return anything that looks suspicious and that it does not recognize.

If you are unsure about the results produced by this plugin, please discuss it here.

Final tips:

- Please always use SFTP instead of FTP when connecting to your site. FTP passwords are sent in clear-text and can be captured. This goes for other protocols too, such as SMTP and POP - it is best to use their secured versions.
- Use the latest virus scanner
- Always update your system software as soon as possible, flash, java, windows updates, etc.
- It may be better to disable javascript and browser plugins when visiting sites that you do not know / trust.
- Don't visit sites suspected of being infected with malware.
- Always keep a clean backup of your site somewhere safe.
