 ???Servus!
I deactivated the 'Enable Résumés Alerts for employers' in 'Main Config...'. When I want to register now as a new employer I get the radio field if I want to get notice informations about new résumés. Does it make more sense to hide this field? I think so. What do you think?

I know this is an ooooold post, but I want to do the same.... I think I'll just modify the signup.php page to use my own STATIC form instead of the dynamically generated one, because that field can't be edited or hidden...

To whom it may concern:
it's as simple as editing the form in the template file:
include/themes/<THEME>/employer-signup-form.php
