Emails no longer being sent

Hi,
I have been using the jammit jobs board for nearly a year now and for a while it was perfect however it has now stopped sending emails to clients and to admin, it does not send login details, applications, passwords, jobs etc.
I have not changed any configurations and I have spoken to my hosting supplier who stated that they are able to send emails from my server using their own script.
Can anyone advise what the problem might be.

what version u use? also what error you get in the list qoue ,is it look like " it was not possible to send message " ?

I am using v 3.5.3 and the list queue is stating that the emails have been sent

try re-uploading your backup. I find that sometimes a file just stops working for some reason and uploading a new file and overwriting the bad file helps.

thanks steve I have tried that but it is still not working. I am going back to the host.
Can someone tell me which files in the web folder deal with the sending of mail and specifically which file contains the mail command.

it's the files in folder include/lib/mail

The host now states "Our Systems Team have had a look at the logs and can see that your mail script is trying to send using the function called 'sendmail', I'm afraid that we cannot guarantee that this is set up and configured correctly for sending messages, as this is the case I would suggest that you check the configuration of your web site to ensure that you send using 'PHP Mail' or similar."
Is it possible to send via PHP Mail with jammit?
Although sendmail seem to work for 6 months with my host so something must have changed somewhere.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

connect to your admin panel
click 'Main Config...'
click 'Email settings'
select 'No - Email will be sent through the PHP mail() function. You do not need to fill in your SMTP settings.'
click 'Save configuration'
this will set JB_USE_MAIL_FUNCTION to 'YES'
in file include/mail_manager.php line 444, class 'email_message_class' will be called
in file include/lib/mail/email_message.php, function mail() will be used

Spoke too soon,
I am still having a few issues with emails.
I get the following errors when candidates try to send email applications via the jobs board:
MISSING_MAILBOX_TERMINATOR .SYNTAX-ERROR.
could not open part file /home/sites/vip7079028/httpd/htdocs/upload_files/docs/temp/karenUppal5844att1.doc
Any ideas,
