OK, I'll admit I'm a newbie and by no means a programmer.  But, I've managed to modify my site at www.nightowlstaffing.com somewhat.   Grin

I'm trying to insert an advertisement on the jobs search page - the one that comes up when you select job categories off the main home page.  I can't find the page to edit.  So far if I've made a change it also appears on the home page as well.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Dennis

PS - I also wanted to put a vertical ad on the home page to the right of the job list.  Is that possible?

Hello All,

I'm still scratching my head trying to figure this out.  Maybe I can be a bit more specific on what I'm trying to do.

My website is at www.nightowlstaffing.com - I'm using the classic theme.  On the main page the job category list is off to the right.  When you click on any category it directs you to a sub-page off the main menu that lists the categories and then a list of jobs in a box at the bottom.  I want to put an ad on that page to the right of the category list - right under where it says Subscribe to Job Classification.   I can't find the page to modify to insert that ad.  Where do I put my ad code?

I would appreciate any help and thanks in advance.

Thanks Lee - I did look at that form and I can post an ad and it will show up in the category list, but it will also show up on the main page list as well.

I appreciate your help.  Maybe I should have used the default theme.

I think I found it!   Grin

The document that controls this page is in the Themes Default directory and is called index-category.php.

I swear I tried that one before   Huh

Anyway, I got an ad on the page - not quite where I want it yet but I'm workin on it.

Thanks again,

Dennis

Hello Denbec,

I am interested in doing the same thing. I looked at the "Index-category.php" file but I don't know where to put my ad-code so it will pop up in my selected category. Could you provide an example of how you did it? I looked at your site and thats exactly how I want to do it too.

Thanks for your help...

I put the add code here - near the bottom of the index-category page:

<?php
}

?>
   </div>
</div>

GOOGLE AD HERE

<?php

JB_display_categories($CAT_STRUCT, $JB_CAT_COLS);

?>

</div>

<?php
JB_list_jobs ("BY_CATEGORY");

?>
