Hi peeps,

Is there a Google expert that can answer this question for me please, will job posts that do not exist on my job board anymore (Deleted) but are listed in Google, will they eventually disappear from the listings on Google or do you have to do something in admin? Surely if the page isn't on the sitemap anymore the next time Google visits it will see it no longer exists and delete the listing?..... is that how it works?

Thanks in advance.

Chris.

Yes. If the page is gone, google will eventually delist it.

Keep in mind that when a job expires on jamit it doesn't go away. It still exists with a URL and Google will keep seeing it when it visits. You need to purge the job postings if you want them gone.
